Are you succeeding at whatever you’re doing? If the answer is yes, then you don’t need to keep reading.
If the answer is NO, then you need to think about what I am going to tell you. There are plenty of reasons why people aren’t successful. Health, not enough money, lack of time, lack of knowledge, lack of support…and so the list goes on and on and on.
If you want, you can accept that you won’t be successful because it’s just too hard! However, if you do accept and give up, you’ll never achieve success. Perseverance is the key to getting anything you want. Athletes face loads of hurdles before they achieve any of their goals. The same applies to everyone.
Forget what hurdles other people face. Concentrate on overcoming the ones you believe stand in your way. You can push them out of the way. If they won’t move, go over them, go around them, tunnel under them or find a different path but keep going!
Success is usually just beyond a particular hurdle but you’ll never know which one if you don’t keep going. Focus, don’t accept excuses from yourself or others and don’t let anyone or anything stand in your way.

I have seen in recent times that many people are ambitious and want to succeed “but they can’t seem to do the right things.” They give off the impression that it’s all their fault and that anything they do will be a failure.
The sad thing is that they are RIGHT! If you believe you’re doomed to failure, then, that’s exactly where you’re headed.
However, if you believe in yourself and keep on trying, then you will never fail.
You only fail when you stop trying.
Did Einstein fail? Did Newton fail? Did Mozart or Michelangelo fail? Did Alexander Graeme Bell fail? NO, sir, they did not. They simply found ways that things could not be done and persisted until they found the ways that it could be done.
If the Wright Brothers hadn’t been persistent, maybe we would not be flying around the world today. If Bill Gates hadn’t had a great idea, maybe you wouldn’t be reading this post right now.
Never let anyone tell you that you’re a failure. Never let them steal your dream. You DO have what it takes to succeed and the only person that can stop you is YOU!

Happy New Year to everyone. I hope that you have all made some firm resolutions and written them down as a reminder to work on them on a daily basis. If you had a bad 2010, make 2011 a better one. If 2010 was great, make 2011 fantastic.
Your future is in your hands and it’s the choices that you make that shape your life. Never be afraid of trying new things. Never be afraid to fail because you learn from failures and they only strengthen your character.
I want to thank the clients I worked with in 2010 and look forward to working with you again this year. If you need any help with writing, proofreading or editing, remember that I am available.
So, here’s to a safe, healthy, happy and prosperous 2011.
